Woodniks are tales carved in wood, stick, seed and pod. A working practice in heuristic ideals. Taking an Earth-first approach to each step along their journey, materials are sourced thoughtfully and responsibly. I am constantly amazed at the delicate and deliberate intention behind the inner workings of millennia old ecosystems. Seeking insight from the three thousand-year-old Redwood, Cypress and Pine groves to the underwater kelp forests, I find immense joy in creating new frames of reference within the world’s first teachers.
